Ultra Precision Automated Microscopy with ADR Low Profile XY Stage
Переглядів 6154 місяці тому
In many life science research and industrial biology applications, the ability to deliver repeatable and reproducible results quickly is critical. With 5 µm accuracy and 500 nm repeatability, the X-ADR-E microscopy stage allows you to achieve single-cell consistency at high magnifications and perform reliable long-term experiments like time-lapse microscopy. Additionally, the 750 mm/s top speed...

A complete set of interchangeable hardware modules and software tools for OEMs and lab managers to build customized fluorescence microscopes and optical subsystems. - Capture clear and detailed epifluorescence, brightfield, and phase contrast images - Design for speed (scan 96-well plates at 5x in 3.8 seconds) or capacity (scan up to 6 microplates at once). - Build your system in just a few cli...
High Speed Nucleus™ Fluorescence Microscope Scans a Microplate in 3.8 seconds
Переглядів 1,5 тис.6 місяців тому
What happens when you marry an ultra-fast microscope with the latest TDI sCMOS camera? You can scan a microplate in a mere 3.8 seconds. In many life science research and industrial biology applications capturing more image data faster can greatly reduce the duration of experiments or deliver a significant competitive advantage for OEM device manufacturers. Increase your imaging throughput by 10...
Cartesian robot with vertical T-Bot drive configuration
Переглядів 10 тис.10 місяців тому
This is a custom designed cartesian robot destined for a liquid handling application. It's built around our LC40 family of belt driven linear stages (see www.zaber.com/products/families/LC40?.com&WLCO45at7S8) and uses what's known as a T-Bot configuration for the Z axis to avoid the weight and wiring nightmare of having to raise and lower the Z-axis motor. The configuration we implemented is a ...

Thanks for the inquiry. The system shown in this video is open loop. However, encoder options are available on most of our linear and rotary devices. These can be used to assemble closed-loop gantry systems if desired.

It looks cool, but using binding force to position the head is a bad design. The joints will eventually grind, and the head wont get to the desired position.

The fluidity of its movement, plus the force that it appears able to generate, make me wonder about, and hopeful for its potential in medtech. What an elegant design. I wonder if it was inspired by a swimming frog.
